I am seeing only birds that are relatively common in the urban area, but "any birds" is better than "no birds." They like the feeder, now that it's moved to the front yard.
The doves have to wait for the sparrows and finches to toss seed down: only small birds can sit on my feeder.
I am not sure if this lady finch was eating the grass, or collecting it for nest-making purposes. Either is fine with me. I've seen two pairs of the house finches and a whole mob of sparrows, two kinds of doves, hummingbirds, a mockingbird, and a phoebe around the yard. As my plants grow up and I add more amenities, the bird show might get even better.
