This is the old Anna's hummingbird who has been staking out my patio for three years. In the photo he is perched on my jasmine plant, equidistant between the two sets of feeder tubes in my ficus trees, where he is perfectly positioned to repel all invaders.
I decided to start calling him Torino because Mr. P was watching the recent Clint Eastwood movie and this bird is just like that character. He is Not to be Trifled With.
LOVE IT! "Torino," indeed. Great movie. We've had one staking out our feeder, as well. Greedy little scuz! :)
