I recently indulged in the Kate Martinelli series by Laurie R. King, with a couple of titles from her Mary Russell Holmes series as well. From the latest in the latter series, the following passage (occurring during a discussion of feng shui) struck me:
" ... in life, a small adjustment in precisely the right place and time may have more effect than an enormous effort elsewhere and later."
This is true in feng shui and in fitness or dancing. I'm posting this to remind myself to look for the opportunity to make small, carefully calibrated changes.
